I am a strong believer that DIVERSITY and GLOBAL COLLABORATION are key to solving some of the hardest challenges in today’s world, such as climate change and gender parity.

  • I was fortunate enough to study engineering at IIT Madras in India, where a mere 10% were girls. It was probably the first time in my life that I became conscious about the value of diversity in a group

  • My first job at GlaxoSmithKline was my first experience of a global setup - trying to make sense of various accents, adapting to different food habits and cultures. I grew immensely as a person and learnt to view the world from different perspectives, working and living in London, Bombay and Singapore

  • Studying MBA at INSEAD, Paris was a whirlwind experience. I got to meet people from ~90 countries, with varying professional backgrounds and at different stages in their career. Engaging in late night discussions in cafeterias and classrooms, we inspired and motivated each other to create an impact in the world - that feeling has definitely stayed with me

  • Working at McKinsey, London has truly given me the opportunity to create an impact for our clients as well as the larger community

For me, Homeward Bound is an ENABLER to my own journey of creating an impact in the world. Having grown up in India, I am aware of the need for economic development and its undesirable side effects on our climate. The lack of opportunities young girls growing up in India face is another issue I am deeply motivated about.

I am in for the long ride, and the photographer in me is eager to document and spread stories. I want to be the storyteller that captures the imagination of young women that inspires and elevates them to leadership positions
